| Melanocoryphus superbus Family: Lygaeidae A very distinctive red and black ground bug with two obvious white spots on the wing membrane, one in the middle and one at the tip. In the UK this species is confined to the Channel Islands where it can be common in grassland and heathland habitats. The bug is reported to feed on foxgloves. Adult: All year Length 4-5 mm |
