Orthotylus moncreaffi

Orthotylus is a large genus of predominantly green bugs. Many are extremely similar and species identification based on external features is often difficult. The hostplant can be very informative.
O. moncreaffi is a small species which is strongly oval in shape and associated with sea purslane and other chenopods growing in salt marshes.
Locally distributed on the southern and eastern coasts of England and south Wales.
