Orthotylus
nassatus Family: Miridae Orthotylus is a large genus of predominantly green bugs. Many are extremely similar and species identification based on external features is often difficult. The hostplant can be very informative. O. nassatus is a blue-green species found on a range of deciduous trees, including oak, lime and ash. The 1st antennal segment is pale from above, but has a dark line on the underside. Found throughout the UK. Adult: July-September Length ~5.0 mm |
