Derephysia foliacea Family: Tingidae This lacebug is distinguished by the single row of large meshes along the edge of the forewing, which may be partly divided (as here). The outer rim of the forewings is strongly raised. The colouring is pale brown, with the antennae, head, and central area of the pronotum darker. The species is found on ivy, and occurs locally across the UK. Adults overtwinter, mating in the spring. The new generation is complete by early autumn. Adult: All year Length 3-3.5 mm |
