Aphrophora salicina
Family: Aphrophoridae

Aphrophora are large froghoppers that all possess a keel on the vertex and front of pronotum, but some species can be difficult to separate.

The forewings are uniformly pale yellow-green with black puncturation (compare with A. major), and the scutellum is distinctly pointed at the tip. The vertex is relatively long compared with A. major.

Found on willows in southern England (north to Yorkshire), south Wales, and parts of Ireland.
