Strongylocoris leucocephalus

This
genus is characterised by the very short and wide head (3x wider than
long). The body is strongly ovate and the hind legs are not modified
for jumping.
S. leucocephalus is black with the head and legs yellowish. The head is covered with short, pale hairs.
A local species asoociated with Rock-rose Helianthemum and Harebell Campanula rotundifolia in dry, warm habitats such as south-facing chalk grassland.
