This species is normally distinctive by its very small size.
The pronotum has three longitudinal keels and the front margin is strongly concave. The forewings are narrow, leaving a long central gap.

Local in parts of southern England, living in moss on sparsely-vegetated calcareous soils.

Length 1.5-2.0 mm
